North Karelia Association of the Visually Impaired produses information in a form accessible to the visually impaired, acts as a peer support channel and serves the visually impaired in many different ways. Member association of the Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired. Founded in 1984. The number of members is about 530 people and the areas of operation are the province of North Karelia and the commune of Heinävesi.
